Why you should split your personality
Bi-polarity is considered an illness in psychology, which makes it even more intriguing for the enterprising zoomer.
Contrary to popular belief, it's extremely easy AND rewarding to split your personality into many parts. Why that's the case is best demonstrated by some practical examples:
1. You have problems relaxing after work since it's challenges and issues are still repeating nonstop in your head.
-> You split your whole ego into two parts:
1. Work personality: When working, you allow yourself to fully immerse yourself into the problems, feelings, and issues that are naturally present when working. You are this worker. The free time dealings are of no concern to you, since you have nothing to do with them.
2. Free time personality: You pretend that this is your free time personality and it has nothing to do with the work. It's like a shift change. Naturally, all work related thoughts will feel like a far away illusionary thing of no consequence to you and your wellbeing.
You will be immensely surprised how easy and seamless this mental switch is activated and it's immediate effectiveness. Now it's just a matter of maintaining the two personalities, e. g. remembering that you are your free time personality right now and therefore the chain of thought about work will be cut off.
This system is also applicable to micro events/activities like dancing in a club. -> you are in your head and have all these thoughts and assumptions about yourself and are therefore held back from fully entering the club mania (which is why most people need to be drunk to enjoy clubs).
With this skill of conscious split personality crafting, you can easily enter any state of mind you desire, even without external substances.
-> You disregard everything else and enter club mania instantly. It will feel like a fun way of pretending at first, until you also forget this and naturally vibe to the music. -> obviously you also have to dance. If you don't act on your mental state, it will naturally dissipate since it won't be congruent with your experienced bodily reality. -> mind comes before matter, but matter shapes mind.
Case 2: You are afraid of dogs and a friend with a dog is coming over.
-> You craft a personality that likes dogs
This approach is less effective with physical issues than when dealing with purely mental pollution, as is easily illustrated with the case of dog fright.
When the dog is in front of you, you will naturally freeze and a bodily reaction will automatically take place. No amount of mental shenanigans can fully change your biology. It WILL alleviate the amount of fright, but it won't eliminate it. In the case of free time stress because of work, it will actually be fully eliminated since no biological reaction is taking place to an external stimulation.
Case 3: Spiritual application.
You want to meditate or silence your thoughts but your mind just won't keep quiet?
-> you create a meditation personality that completely ignores all other concerns, since it's none of it's business.
Exceptionally effective for instant results.
CHALLENGE: The fear barrier. Your ego will feel threathened by your conscious act of splitting it and there will come up the feeling of dread that you won't be able to come back into your work personality for example. This is a hoax and needs to be ignored. You are naturally able to enter any personality you want and especially such main cores like your work personality will inevitably come up again automatically at the latest when you go to work again.
A bonus observation from applying this technique is that you realize how hard/ineffective it is to do two things at a time. -> you naturally become a mono focused person that has an exceptional attention span.
